Hello All!

Hey everyone! My name is Kerry and joining me on here is my good friend Carly.  We are two young budding professionals that just moved to Madison, WI.  Not only are we focused on our upcoming careers but also trying to stay active and healthy!  One way we make sure to stay healthy is what we like to call "Modern Day Primal".  If you haven't heard of 'primal eating/living', you need to check out Mark's Daily Apple and The Food Lovers' Primal Palate.  We follow these two blogs religiously.  They are packed with great information and recipes one can use to get a head start on their primal lives.  We'll give you a quick break down here but be sure to visit these blogs too!

Basically, we eat as our ancestors ate.  We avoid heavy processed foods, grains and most dairy.  We enjoy lots of fruits, veggies, meaty proteins, nuts and seeds.  Now, you may be thinking to yourself, 'that's too hard!' but in reality, it's not hard at all.  Give yourself two weeks, you'll feel great and have so much energy that you'll never want go back! We know we didn't!

Now, onto why we're here...
Carly and I are new to the Madison area and are eager to see what it has to offer.  We decided to get together at least once a week to find good foods and create a tasty, new primal meal!  All you have to do is keep up with our blog! Check in once a week, or every couple of days.  We'll post pictures, recipes, and information to help you start your Modern Day Primal Life!
